Anaemia occurs when the number of red blood cells or the concentration of haemoglobin within them is lower than normal. Haemoglobin is required to transport oxygen, and if you have too few or abnormal red blood cells, or not enough haemoglobin, your blood’s capacity to transport oxygen to the body’s tissues will be reduced.
Anaemia is a serious global public health issue that disproportionately affects children under the age of five and pregnant women. According to the World Health Organization, 42 percent of children under the age of five and 40 percent of pregnant women are anaemic worldwide.
KV Care Medical & Dental Clinic was established in the year 2019. The main reason to start this clinic was to cater to the needs of population around the locality.
